Permanent Makeup Requirements

Freckles

Prior to your freckle permanent makeup service:
NO retinol products, acne treatments or salicylic acid four (4) weeks prior.
NO botox injections three (3) weeks prior.
NO deep exfoliation treatments - such as chemical peels - two (2) weeks prior.
NO sauna or tanning one (1) week prior.
Discontinue use of fish oil or Vitamin E at least one (1) week prior.
NO alcohol twenty-four (24) hours prior.
NO working out the day of.
NO heavy creams or sunscreen the day of - come to your appointment with clean skin.

Aftercare

First seven (7) days after appointment:
Wash your face daily - morning and night - with antibacterial soap. Gently use your fingertips to cleanse and rinse with water to ensure all soap is rinsed away. To dry, pat gently with a clean cotton pad or with paper towels. DO NOT use a cloth towel. After cleaning, apply a rice grain amount of non-scented facial lotion. DO NOT over apply or apply new lotion over old lotion. This puts your freckles at risk of bacteria build up.
DO NOT use any facial cleaning products that contain acids - glycolic, lactic, hydroxy acids - or exfoliants and NO acne products.
NO scratching or picking.

For ten (10) days after appointment:
DO NOT touch your face unless for cleaning purposes, and always wash your hands before you do.
NO face makeup.
NO long hot showers - limit showers to 5-8 minutes if possible.
NO swimming in any bodies of water and NO saunas - avoid sweating as much as possible.

For thirty (30) days after appointment:
NO threading, waxing or facial removal products.
NO facials.
NO laser light therapy.
NO UV exposure or tanning.
